Aldeburgh Food and Drinks FestivalSeptember 19th - 28th 2008
 
The 2008 Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival will take place along the coast of East Suffolk from 19th – 28th September.

From Friday 19th September there will be an exciting range of activities and events taking place throughout the region from Southwold to Woodbridge culminating in a two day extravaganza at Snape Maltings on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September. At this exciting two day event, over 70 local producers will offer tastings and showcase their products, there will be cookery demonstrations, a children’s corner, workshops, discussion forums, boat trips and RSPB-guided walks.

This will be the third Festival to take place and already the whole event has developed a large following.

Christmas and New Year 2008 on the Suffolk Coast 24th onwards

Scrabble Weekend 23rd January 2009Two night break
 
Limited availability early booking is advised for this exclusive weekend.

This Scrabble course is ideal for those who already play regularly at tournaments or at a Club or at home and would like to experience their first tournament and pick up some tips in the process.
Hosted by Allan Simmons and expert and Scrabble consultant.

Rack management, bonus words, winning tips and strategy.
Short lectures in skill, srategy and vocabulary are interspersed with five formal rated games under tournament conditions.

On the Saturday evening there will be a more relaxed fun session.

Welcome drink, two nights accommodation with breakfast and dinner, tuition and tournaments (50p per player is required to formally rate the games)
